Description

Leather detonator case with loops on the back to fit onto a belt, one loop on each end with brass catch and lock on the front. From Deans No 5 shale mine, c. 1940.

Used by mine deputies who issued detonators to miners. Salvaged by donor's father who was surface worker at Deans.
