Description
B&W negative copied in 1990 from official albums then held at Grangemouth refinery.
Candles and a range of wax products, were produced in great quantities by Young's company at Addiewell and the Broxburn company at Broxburn. This photograph appears to be of Broxburn Candleworks and shows boys gluing, assembling and filling cardboard boxes, with plain candles. Candles continued to be produced at Broxburn until c. 1958.
