Black presentation box from Pumpherston Oil Company, to William Gladstone
Inscription on the front reads "Presented to the Right Honourable W. E. Gladstone M. P. for Midlothian by William Fraser on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Pumpherston Oil Company (Limited) as a souvenir of his visit to the works at Midcalder on 28th October 1890".
