Description

album of 11 photographs of various views of the Dedridge to Oakbank aerial haulage ropeway, circa 1912. The ropeway carried shale from Newfarm No 3 & 4 mine to Oakbank Oil Works, commencing in 1908 and stopping 1919 002 protective bridge where the ropeway crossed the A71 near Glebe Farm, and a group of local children. Copy of LVSAV1998.046.
