Mid Calder Parish War Memorial. The unveiling and dedication of the Memorial Tablet took place at a service in the church on Sunday 30th October, 1921. Bridgend, Mid Calder. The church, which closed after the Second World War was built as a replacement church in 1854. The first church had been built ''East to West''. The Dry Bridge, Mid Calder. The erection sate of the ''Dry Brig'' is thought to have been around 1806 at the time a new avenue was laid to Lord Torphichen's estate house.
