Bathville level crossing

  • Location map

Crossing over the Hardhill Road at Bathville belonging to Robertson, Love & Co. This is only a hutchway but it is very objectionable, as at present there is a gate on one side only opening inwards and in a brick wall, so that that the traffic comes out on the road without any warning and cannot be seen. Some means should be taken to intimate the approach of traffic, say a gate on the north side of the road opening across it, as there have been several narrow escapes from accident. Wayleave of £3 is recommended.
