    • 143416 - Decision by Bathgate District Committee of Linlithgow County Council on 9th July 1901, to charge wayleave on existing level crossings.........."Crossings on Greendykes Road belonging to the Broxburn Oil Company...... one situate just above the canal. There is considerable traffic both on the road and railway and shunting has to be done at times, and a sum of £5 per annum would appear a fair charge."
